Newly uncovered notes penned by former FBI agent Peter Strzok were obtained this week as part of the Justice Department’s ongoing review of the case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn and turned over to his legal team for review, Fox News has learned.

The U.S. Justice Department said the courts have no right to question its decision to drop the criminal case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn, even if a judge suspects the move is a political favor to an ally of President Donald Trump.

In the clash between General Michael Flynn’s lawyer Sidney Powell, and Judge Emmet Sullivan’s “friend” — former judge John Gleeson — Powell called out Gleeson’s claim on Wednesday that Sullivan should continue to prosecute Flynn even though the government has asked Sullivan to dismiss its case against him.
